The project on Military Spending and Oversight seeks to provide more accessible information to the world of the Pentagon's procurement and acquisition processes. It also investigates, with a critical eye, issues of military transformation and the role of future weapon systems in national security concerns. The Federal Year military budget assessments performed by the Center are one of the few publicly accessible descriptions of the defense budget.
